Sexually transmitted diseases (i.e STDs) are infectious diseases that get passed from sexual partner to sexual partner through sex. There is no background or age of guys and girls who are not affected by STDs who are having sex, it affects all regardless fo financial status.

Unfortunately, getting sexually trasmitted diseases is now a common teen-age occurence. Since teen-agers have increased risk for transmitting and obtaining sexually transmitted diseases, it's important to learn what you can do to protect yourself.

Being an embarrassment is the least of your concerns with STDs. They're a important health concern. If untreated, permanent health issues can be caused by some STDs, such as infertility (not being able to get pregnant) and even death (i.e HIV/AIDS).
